For the most part these are the Transformers I wanted as a kid. I have made it a goal lately to get them all in one form or another. This is not intended to be a complete list of G1 transformers but merely Transformers I wanted as a kid. This is a personal list posted here for ease of reaching it and really doesn't have anything to do with anything else.

They have to look equivalent to, and work the same as their G1 counterparts. They can be official reissues (like the Encore, TRU, or the Takara Reissue) or part of a new series. For instance Onslaught was basically reissued as Mega-Octane, as well as the rest of the Combaticons, in the Robots In Disguise (RID) series. So since I have all of the RID Combaticons I figure I have all the parts of Bruticus. X-Brawn (RID), however, looks nothing like Brawn(G1) so I don't consider myself to have Brawn. Make sense?
